October 2011 - From MMFC Report Part 2..."The Brothers Cooper and Crew Ainge had folks talking this weekend at Babson. Cooper Ainge '12 has always been able to play, but now that he has stretched out a little and gotten noticeably faster and stronger, he has become significantly more dangerous on the court. On Saturday night, playing for his Wellesley HS team in the 18u division, Cooper dropped a business-like 30 (8 treys) on his Middlesex Magic teammates. (Middlesex Magic won by 20 or so) When he wasn't reigning treys, Cooper was blowing by defenders to break down the defense to create scoring opportunitis for his Raider mates. It was apparent that Cooper has taken his game to a new level and the crystal ball says this trend of ascension will continue."
July 2011 - From Middlesex Magic July Wrap-Up..."Cooper showed this Summer that he might be the Magic's most versatile offensive guard. Ainge has a nice shooting-stroke and can pull it from deep or off the pull-up. Ainge has a nice handle and uses it to get to the basket or create for others. Defensively he has great lateral quickness and terrific instincts. Ainge has the highest of basketball IQs and his well rounded abilities will allow him to be an asset at the collegiate level."
