- Ahearn is a big-bodied bruiser with talent who really knows how to play the game.  This Summer, Ahearn was a rock for the BABC Freshmen, averaging a solid double-double and consistently wearing down the opposing front-line with his relentless pursuit of the basketball.  Ahearn is an outstanding rebounder who boxes out by the book and knows exactly where to position himself when gauging a carom.  He also defends the post very well and understands how to rotate and help.  Offensively, Ahearn is a terrific passer, has the ability to go to work in the post, and does a nice job of finishing around the basket.  The nephew of former NBA Player & current Clippers boss Vinny Del Negro.
