- Smith is a long 6'3 guard with tremendous speed who is a high-level athlete and as tough a competitor as you'll find. This Summer, Smith showed off his big-time scoring ability on the National Stage, averaging 26ppg during BABC's 15u National Championship Run. D-Smith scores the ball in a variety of ways. He'll beat the defense down the court with his speed and catch long passes on the dead sprint before in-one-motion finishing softly at the rim. Although more of a slasher than a shooter, Smith is a shot-maker who can put it in from the mid-range or 3-pt land. Damion also has tremendous defensive ability with his length, athleticism, and instincts. Still lots of room for improvement for Smith and he could be very good when it is all said and done. Smith is definitely a Division One Athlete: what D1-Level, we'll have to wait and find out.
